Our Leisure Club will re-open its doors, following the government guidelines, with Tennis and Crazy Golf opening from the 29th March and indoor Leisure facilities from the 12th April!
Online booking is open for up to 2 weeks in advance. Please only make up to 3 pre-bookings per week maximum – if there is space on the day you wish to visit you are welcome to make additional bookings on the day.
For Crazy Golf equipment and Tennis equipment, please check in and collect from at the main hotel reception until our Leisure reception re-opens on the 12th April.
What is happening at the resort? Well… we are over the moon to tell you….
Refurbishment has begun at the resort and is looking wonderful. Whilst our bar and restaurant are being renovated, food and drink will be available at the terrace in the Edith Weston Suite. We are excited to begin to share with you some of the cocktails, food and creativity that is to come in our new bar and restaurant.
Our Hotel bedrooms are currently being decorated. The Main Hall and Reception areas are also beginning work imminently.
We are operating slightly differently to make sure we are keeping everybody safe. What has changed?
Our gym has moved to the Lakeview Suite next to the Leisure Reception. Booking is required for your 1-hour slot. Please check your temperature and wash your hands on arrival, then sign in at the Leisure desk. Once your hour is finished, please leave the gym via the fire exit door.
Face coverings are not required in the gym, but please ensure you wear a face covering in the reception area.
There are no changing facilities or lockers available currently. Please bring with you your own water bottle and towel.
Prebooking is required for the pool. Please arrive to the poolside terrace and wait for the lifeguard to sign you in and check your temperature. All swim slots are 45 minutes in length.
You must arrive ‘beach style ready’. This means you must have your swim wear on underneath your clothes/robe/towel. Changing rooms are not available before swimming. The showers on the poolside are available for use but no shampoos, conditioners, body washes or products are to be used. Towels will not be provided; please ensure you bring your own.
Once you have finished swimming, you are able to use the changing rooms to dry and change before leaving via the fire exit doors.
Currently, there are no spectators allowed on the poolside unless a parent/guardian is required.
How do I book?
Head to the Barnsdale Hall Hotel website and select ‘Enjoy’ from the menu. You will then find the ‘Book Leisure Activity’ button which will redirect you to our booking portal.
You will be asked to sign in to view availability and make bookings.

You may have entered information that we do not have stored for you, and it hasn’t recognised your membership. We are sorry about this! You can call us on 01572 771314 (from 12th April) or email Molly at email@example.com and we can sort this for you!
How do I cancel my booking?
You can cancel your booking by heading to the booking portal via the website. Click ‘My Account’ and find ‘Future Group Activities’. You will be able to see all your Leisure Club bookings here, and on the far right there will be a ‘X’ to click and cancel.
If you fail to cancel a booking 3 times and do not attend your booking, all future bookings will be cancelled, and you will not be able to make any Leisure Club bookings for a week.
